The Civic Trust is keen for all Civic Societies to benefit from the networking opportunities available to them through this site. However we also want to provide a web presence for Civic Societies that do not currently have a website. If you have any images or newsletters that you would like to have displayed on your Civic Society home page email them across to and we will be happy to include additional information on your page.

Keep watching for updates to the website as soon you will be given the opportunity to update your webpage yourself!!!

When will our Civic Society be able to access this web page you refer to? We are considering setting up a website but the cost is quite high so any thing The Civic Trust can do in the meantime would be very welcome. Who should I contact?

You may be able to find a local person with some experience of creating and - more importantly maintaining - a website. Hosting the site is now relatively inexpensive. For instance go to http://www.bargainhost.co.uk and you can build your site using a free template and be up and running this afternoon - they say! There is an excellent demonstration video. They will also take care of registering your domain name for a small fee. It’s worth a go!

To answer RHargreaves1950 - you should be able to access your page by going to http://www.civicsocieties.org.uk/ and then look under the relevant listings to find your society.
