Does anyone have any information about how we can influence Local Development Frameworks. We want to be involved in the planning process from a very early stage and want to know how we would go about doing this. Our local planning officer has said that he would be willing to hear suggestions of how we can be involved as he isn’t sure how to advise us in a formal manner.

A good place to start may be the Planning Portal Website. I usually find that this contains quite a lot of useful information.
