Do you want more green space in your life?

Is your car park a waste of space?

Would hanging baskets brighten your bus stop?

The Civic Trust believes that green spaces provide us with places in which to work, relax, socialise and play. No green space is too small to enliven our environment, and we want to know about those wasted spaces which could become local oases of green, or micro parks.

From bus stops to high streets and car parks to housing estates, there are small public urban spaces which could be improved by shrubs, planting – and care. We need you to tell us about these wasted spaces.

Where would YOU like to see more green in your life?
The Civic Trust manages the Green Flag Award, Green Pennant Award and is a partner in the Community Spaces Programme thus we are encouraging all Civic Societies and other community groups to seek funding from the Community Spaces fund to help you restore areas in your community that are no longer loved.

Nominate your wasted space here or why not discuss how we can all work together to create better places for everyone in our Open Spaces discussion forum.
