North WestFormed in 2002, the NW.Acts Committee is now well organised to help individual Trusts and Societies in the north west area to be heard, to help to create local societies where they do not at present exist, and to coordinate the collective desires of all civic societies in the north west. Regular links with adjacent areas are made and we have a presence on the National Civic Trust.
The direction for the future within the Civic Trust movement is towards more control from the ‘grass roots’.
