The Civic Trust has encouraged the formation of regional liaison groups or associations. They represent and promote the interests of Civic Societies in dealings with the Regional Development Agencies, Regional Assemblies, the regional offices of Government agencies and other organisations. Their boundaries are the same as the official Government regions.
Members of the Regional Associations sit on the National Committee for Civic Societies, chaired by Kevin Trickett, Trustee of the Civic Trust and chair of the Wakefield Civic Society. Dr Peter Diplock, Trustee, is also a committee member.
